Templates

Using a Template when creating an Auto Responder is not required, but it will allow you to input just the content. This content will be automatically inserted into the Template at the predefined location.

  1. If not using the default sender for the chosen publication, choose the desired Sender from the drop-down menu.

  2. If associated to an effort, input the Effort Identifier in the Effort ID field.

  3. Input the desired Name of the Auto Responder. This name is used for internal reference and not sent as part of the e-mail.

  4. Input the desired Subject for the Auto Responder in the Subject field.

  5. Input the desired Preview Line for the Auto Responder in the Preview Line field.

📘

Preview Line

The Preview Line is a short blurb that will appear next to the Subject line in the recipient's inbox. Not all email providers support Preview Lines. Even when preview text is supported, no two inboxes look the same—both placement and character count vary. Refer to this guide for more info on the Preview Line and how to implement it: https://litmus.com/blog/the-ultimate-guide-to-preview-text-support
