Creating an Author

Authors

All content that is published from OptiPub whether it be online, email, or SMS, is associated with an Author. Authors are configured and associated with an OptiPub user account for further usability.

Publications must include an author for that author to create resources for the publication. Users can be added to many publications as authors. In addition to allowing users/authors to create resources for a publication; Author bios and information can be added to website pages using the Authors API.

You can find Authors in the menu under the Content module. Click the Create button in the top right corner to add an author.

You must assign a publication, OptiPub user and author group. Author groups can be added in Settings under the Administration module. You must also provide a display name and choose whether the author is active. Click Save
